In 2001, during a European tour, ORCHID DU had an in-depth discussion with Salvatore, the head of DIDUO, during a trip to Italy. DIDUO was known for its sense of quality at that time, but its performance was modest. ORCHID DU discussed her personal views on the future development of the brand. DIDUO executives agreed so much that they moved the design center to NEWYORK the following year and revamped the brand's image and design. After a long negotiation in 2006, DIDUO transferred the management rights of China region (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) to ORCHID DU for independent management.
